Deletion or blocking of data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as it is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here, or as provided for in the various storage periods provided by law. After the respective purpose or expiry of these periods, the corresponding data will be blocked or deleted as a matter of routine and in accordance with statutory regulations.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc (in the following: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called "Cookies", i.e. text files which are stored on your computer, and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA, and also stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on these websites, your IP address will be reduced by Google prior to that, within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states pursuant to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide the website operator with further services associated with website use and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address), and prevent the processing this data through Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: Browser add-on for the deactivation of Google Analytics.

For further information on the use of data for advertising purposes by Google, options for settings and objections, please visit the Google websites: https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners ("Use of data by Google when using our partners' websites or apps, https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads ("Use of data for advertising purposes”) https://www.google.de/settings/ads ("Manage information Google uses to show you advertising") and https://www.google.com/ads/preferences ("Determine what ads Google shows you").

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

In order to present our contents correctly and graphically appealing across all browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) on this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid a multiple loading. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or does not allow access, content will be displayed in a default font.

Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. In theory, it is possible - but currently also unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes - that operators of corresponding libraries collect the data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Use of Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps API to display geographical information visually. When utilizing Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of map functions by visitors. For more information about how Google processes your information, please see the Google data protection information. There, you can also change your personal data protection settings in the Data Protection Center.

Detailed instructions for managing your own data related to Google products can be found here.

Embedded YouTube videos

We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is the operator of the corresponding plug-ins. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to Youtube servers will be established. Youtube will be informed about which pages you visit. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If a YouTube video is started, the provider will use cookies that collect information about the user behavior.

If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to anticipate such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the saving of cookies in your browser.

Further information on data protection at "Youtube" can be found in the provider's data protection declaration under: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Social Plugins

Social plugins from the providers listed below are used on our websites. You can recognize the plugins by the fact that they are marked with the corresponding logo.

These plugins may be used to send information, which may include personal data, to the service provider and may be used by him. We prevent the involuntary and unwanted collection and transmission of data to the service provider through a 2-click solution. To activate a desired social plugin, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. Only this activation of the plugin will trigger the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider. We do not collect any personal data ourselves using the social plugins, or data about their use.

We have no influence on which data an activated plugin collects and how it is used by the provider. At present, it must be assumed that a direct connection to the provider's services will be expanded, and that at least the IP address and device-related information will be recorded and used. It is also possible that the service providers will try to save cookies on the computer that is used. Please refer to the data protection information of the respective service provider to find out which specific data is collected and how it is used. Note: If you are logged in to Facebook at the same time, Facebook can identify you as a visitor of a specific page.

We have integrated the social media buttons of the following companies on our website:

Facebook Inc. (1601 S. California Ave - Palo Alto - CA 94304 - USA)
Twitter Inc. (795 Folsom St. - Suite 600 - San Francisco - CA 94107 - USA)

If your application is followed by the conclusion of an employment contract, your transmitted data may be stored by us in your personnel file for the purpose of the usual organisational and administrative process in compliance with the relevant legal regulations.

If your application is rejected, the data you have submitted will automatically be deleted two months after the notification of rejection. This does not apply if a longer storage is necessary due to legal requirements (e.g. the burden of proof according to the General Equal Treatment Act), or if you have expressly agreed to a longer storage in our database of interested parties.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection

You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time.
