Corporate video "The Power of Element-System" clocks up its fourth international award.
The Element-System brand is synonymous throughout Europe with top-quality shelving and storage systems for end users, and is a mainstay of Element-System. In mid-November 2006, the brand was awarded its fourth international accolade in sequence in recognition of its corporate video "The Power of Element-System". As part of the Corporate Media Festival 2006 in Munich, Germany, the panel of judges praised the high standard of the film produced by Element-System, conferring the company with the BRONZE AWARD 2006 for its corporate and product communication. "We were certainly not expecting the film to meet with this kind of international response and recognition. This is an amazing result. We have now succeeded in adding excellence in communication to an excellent product which fully meets our stringent quality aspirations", explains Element-System CEO Günter Steudle.
Element-System entered its attractive 3-minute corporate video at the WorldFest Festival 2006 in Houston/USA, the WorldMedia Festival 2006 in Hamburg and the 42nd INTERCOM Competition 2006 in Chicago/USA. It received the PLATINUM Award 2006 from one panel of judges, and the SILVER Award 2006 from the other two.

The new ES corporate video "The Power of Element-System" clocks up its third international award.
Europe's number one producer of shelving and storage systems for end users Element-System was able to lay claim to a third major international award at the beginning of October 2006 for its new corporate video "The Power of Element-System". The panel of judges at the 42nd INTERCOM International Communications Video & Interactive Media Competition 2006 in Chicago/USA presented Element-System with the SILVER Award for its corporate video.
Element-System also entered the attractive three-minute corporate video in the WorldFest Festival 2006 in Houston/USA and the WorldMedia Festival 2006 in Hamburg, where it also succeeded in bagging the PLATINUM Award 2006 and the SILVER Award 2006 respectively.
Receiving this unique and highly prestigious series of awards is something Element-System's CEO Günter Steudle is understandably proud of: "I am over the moon that our short but highly appealing image video has met with such a degree of recognition and acclaim among media professionals and also from the public. The investment we made in the ES corporate video has paid dividends already. I firmly believe that this video will make a similarly positive impression of a modern, efficient Baden-Württemberg-based company not only with our customers, suppliers and associates but primarily also with end users. The video and the three major film awards will help to turn the name Element-System into a brand name which is synonymous with innovative shelving systems".

On July 14, 2006, in Europe one of the leading manufacturers of shelving and storage systems for end users Element-System joined invited guests from the worlds of politics and industry as well as the Element-System workforce to celebrate a major milestone: The production of its 1 billionth bracket and 300 millionth upright. Even leading national politician Volker Kauder, the head of Germany's CDU/CSU parliamentary group, was impressed enough by this breathtaking statistic to make the journey to Rottenacker to pay tribute to the company's achievement. "This is a model company", commented Kauder. He expressed his conviction that Germany's future success would be assured if we could only succeed in doing away with bureaucratic red tape and excessive regulation, reducing ancillary labour costs and releasing the innovative forces inherent in today's small and medium-sized enterprise culture.
Kauder's address was made in response to the speech delivered by Element-System's CEO Günter Steudle. After looking back briefly over the company's development, Steudle not only emphasized the economic success of recent years, which have seen Element-System become in Europe one of the leading manufacturers of shelving and storage systems for end users, but also dwelt on the urgent need for comprehensive support to encourage innovation - a move which he considers an existential necessity in view of the growing competitive threat from Asia and Eastern Europe, and sees as the only way forward to keep companies operating within Germany as a viable industrial location. Addressing Mr Kauder, Günter Steudle commented: "I consider it essential for innovative small and medium-size enterprises to receive greater consideration in future when it comes to support for innovation. Large-scale corporations benefit from substantial state subsidies, while help for the deserving medium-sized backbone of our industry has been disproportionate to its value."
There was recognition and praise for Element-System's outstanding achievement from CDU Member of Parliament Traub, District Administrator Seiffert and Mayor Hauler, who were unanimous in pledging their continued support to Element-System and the community of small and medium-sized enterprises. Chief Executive of the Ulm Chamber of Commerce Otto Sälzle took the opportunity to thank the General Management for making available additional training placements.
Günter Steudle rounded off the jubilee celebrations by thanking the many long-standing staff members for their years of unstinting commitment to Element-System, presenting them with distinctions and certificates of service.

New Element-System corporate video "The Power of Element-System" clocks up international awards.
Europe's number one producer of shelving and storage systems for end users Element-System GmbH was able to lay claim to two international awards at the end of April 2006 for its new corporate video "The Power of Element-System". As part of the WorldFest Festival 2006 in Houston/USA, the panel of judges conferred the PLATINUM award on the Element-System video from among 450 entries from 33 countries.
Element-System had also entered its attractive three-minute corporate video for the WorldMedia Festival 2006 in Hamburg, where it came away with the SILVER Award 2006. The award was presented as part of an award ceremony held during a gala evening in Hamburg on May 10, 2006 to an ES representative, who expressed the company's pleasure and gratitude.
Chief Executive of Element-System Günter Steudle was pleased and proud to voice his response to these prestigious international accolades: "I view these two awards as confirmation of my decision to lend the company a new, more contemporary profile in step with modern values through the medium of film. We are up against international competitive pressure and there is a real need to make our presence felt, particularly given our busy trade fair schedule. These two awards represent a unique achievement and place us in a class of our own in our sector. The video and the two awards will play a decisive role in keeping Element-System in its premier position within Europe as the standard bearer among producers of shelving and storage systems for end users."

The International Hardware Fair Practical World remains the single most important meeting place for the DIY and ironmongery industry.
Manufacturer of quality shelving and shopfitting systems Element-System spent March 5 - 8 2006 showcasing the latest product developments on offer from Europe's number one producer of shelving and storage systems for end users on a stand encompassing 420 sq.m. in Cologne. Element-System Chief Executive Günter Steudle reported over 2,500 visitors. Stand personnel welcomed a steady stream of visitors including board members, CEOs and purchasing representatives of international hardware chains and DIY stores to the highly popular stand, and were able to report a highly promising response. "I am confident that we will succeed in turning many of the very positive meetings held with prospective customers at the Practical World into attractive orders and concrete turnover over the coming weeks and months. Element-System is extremely well positioned in the international competitive arena. A walk around this important trade fair provides clear evidence that our innovative products still have plenty to distinguish them from their competitors", confided Günter Steudle in reference to the major presence of Asian competitors at the show. "Which of course doesn't mean that we will be resting on our laurels as Europe's number one producer of shelving and storage systems for end users: We will still be working away to ensure our products are fully future-proof, as well as stepping up productivity and innovative drive. At the same time we will be implementing a rigorous program of cost management", added Steudle.
For the first time at the Practical World 2006, Element-System unveiled its new corporate and image video as well as 3D animations to demonstrate the ease and simplicity of assembly and the wide application spectrum of the different Element-System furnishing worlds using "upright and bracket systems". Visitors to the show were drawn through a new semitransparent trade fair stand concept into the Element-System stand, where they had the opportunity to experience all the latest Element-System innovations hands-on. Visitors to the Element-System trade fair stand were all provided with comprehensive information and product demonstrations, as well as being served cappuccino and light refreshments by cheerful ES staff and stand hostesses.
